PURPOSE:To obtain a low loss Mn-Zn ferrite capable of largely reducing the loss when used as a transformer for a switching electric source by adding a specific auxiliary component to a basic component comprising Fe2O3, MnO and ZnO. CONSTITUTION:The Mn-Zn ferrite contains 51.5-54.5mol.% of Fe2O3, 33-40mol.% of MnO and 6-14mol.% of ZnO as basic components, further contains 0.02-0.20wt.% (as CaO) of calcium oxide, 0.03-0.40wt.% (as GeO2) of germanium oxide and 0.01-0.08wt.% (as Nb2O5) of niobium oxide, and more further contains <=0.60wt.% (as TiO2) of titanium oxide and/or 0.005-0.040wt.% (as SiO2) of silicon oxide as auxiliary components. |
