PURPOSE:To make a substitution by converting an equivalent that a user selects to the form of conjugation or inflection in an actual translation. CONSTITUTION:A conjugation or inflection form conversion part 1-7-2 converts the equivalent passed from an equivalent selective input control part 1-6 into an equivalent in correct conjugation or inflection form by using a knowledge base 1-5 having information for conjugation/inflection conversion and conjugation/inflection information on the equivalent passed from a translation control part 1-3. An equivalent substitution part 1-7-3 substitutes the original equivalent with the equivalent passed from the conjugation/inflection form conversion part 1-7-2. When user selects the equivalent, the ending of the inflection of the equivalent in the translation need not be corrected manually to improve the operability. |
