A glass run, particularly for motor vehicles having a resilient lining 4 on the internal walls of a U-section strip 2 of metal reinforced rubber or plastics is provided with longitudinal lips 6 between the lining 4 and base of the strip, the lips 6 being slightly inclined towards the base and are arranged to butt the window pane 5.
