PURPOSE:To make time series test of abnormal route of transmitting procedure easily and automatically by providing trace buffers in a communication interface section, a transmitting procedure controlling section and a communication interface section of tested side, collecting information from each trace buffer and collating with anticipated result from a data bank. CONSTITUTION:Communication interfaces 31, 32 are controlled respectively from a communication procedure controlling section 33 and a test case generating device 34 and perform communication using communication ports 21, 22. Communication interface section trace buffers 41, 42 takes in trace information from communication interface sections 31, 32. A communication procedure controlling section trace buffer 43 takes in trace information from the communication procedure controlling section. A verifying device 51 takes in trace information from communication interface section trace buffers 41, 42 and the communication procedure controlling section 43 and collates it with anticipated result taken in from a data bank 61 and sends the result of verification to a display device to indicate the state of communication.
