<p>The packaging consists of a blank 1 which is set in a vertical position on a base 6 at the packaging stage and which is folded to a polygonal shape along vertical fold lines 2. The goods item is packed into the packaging space 10 via the side which remains open, with the products 7 lying in layers on top of each other. The side 10a, 10e which has been open is then closed and the packaging space is formed to a closed package for transport. The packaging is transported to the sales point E, where a vertical side 10a of the packaging space 10 is opened in order to display the products.
