Controlling magnetic-valve in antilocking braking system - ascertaining function of valve by tapping voltage of transistor setting current flow through solenoid
摘要
In a skid-regulated vehicle braking system a solenoid-operated valve controls the fluid flow into the hydraulic brakes. The solenoid current is supplied through the collector of a transistor (T) which is driven from a pulsed source (C) and is reset to a value below the skid-threshold from the duration of the transistor collector-voltage waveform (V) in comparison with a reference level set by the braking requirement and the vehicle speed. ADVANTAGE - Smoother action in simplified feedback-system in which time-lag is minimised.
