PURPOSE:To set the sensitivity of a measuring system automatically, by computing the measured light output, which is obtained by transmitting the previous sensitivity value stored in a memory to the light measuring system, and objective intensity by a specified relationship, and controlling the computed value so that it is transmitted to a measuring system. CONSTITUTION:When an element is measured by emission spectrochemical analysis, light from a light source 1 is detected by a light detector 3 through a spectroscope 2. The light is measured by a light measuring circuit 4. The previous sensitivity value AT0 stored in a memory 8 is transmitted to the circuit 4, and the sensitivity of the light measuring system is set at the transmitted sensitivity AT0. A control circuit 6 controls the measurement of a sample, and a measured output IC is obtained based on the average value of the measured light outputs of several times. Then, a sensitivity value ATn, which is stored in a light measuring system is computed by an objective intensity and the expression of relationship. The sensitivity value AT0 stored in the memory 8 is updated. The computed result is transmitted to the circuit 4 and the new sensitivity value is set. Thus the sensitivity of the measuring system can be automatically set. |
