<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific amount of a nonaqueous dispersion resin having acid groups or groups forming the acid groups by hydrolysis in a core component and capable of holding preventive effects on attachment of organisms for a long period and useful for ships or marine structures. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by blending 1-100wt.% (preferably 30-90wt.%) nonaqueous dispersion resin which is a dispersion, containing a core component and a skin component at preferably (90/10) to (50/50) weight ratio of the core component to the skin component, having 30-1000nm particle diameter and acid groups or groups (preferably carboxylate and acid anhydride groups) capable of forming the acid groups by hydrolysis in the core component and providing 30-500 (preferably 30-300) resin acid value after the hydrolysis with other resins such as acrylic resin or polyester resin- based resin as a base resin, a solvent such as hexane or toluene and, as necessary, an antifouling agent, a plasticizer, an extender pigment, etc.</p> |
