LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, SURFACE SPOT LIGHT SOURCE AND SURFACE PARALLEL LIGHT SOURCE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display device which can be viewed in a good display state and is wide in visual field angle and a surface spot light source or surface parallel light source which is adequate thereto. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device is constituted by providing the surface parallel light source disposed with a lens array 3 on the light radiating side of the surface spot light source constituted by arranging and fixing ends 4 on one side of plural optical fibers 5 in the surface shaped and gathering ends 6 on the other side and disposing these ends to a light source 7 on at least one side of a liquid crystal panel 2 and has a light diffusion plate 1 on the front surface on the visual recognition side at need. The surface spot light source and surface parallel light source are for this liquid crystal display device. The surface spot light source efficiently converts the light from a single light source into the surface spot light source. The surface parallel light source having the excellent reliability of the light source and the excellent thinness are easily obtd. by disposing a lens array thereto.
