PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting portion with its improved reliability for flat cable connection. SOLUTION: This connection portion is such that a flat cable 3 and an external conductor are connected via a intermediate connector 11, the intermediate connector 11 is provided with a joint bar 2 positioned by means of an insulation support body 5 according to the pitch of each conductor 4 of the flat cable 3, each conductor 4 of the flat cable 3 is linked with the joint bar 2, and a link part 6 is constituted so as to be covered with a resin mold body 7 with the link part 6 formed with insert mold. In this case, the insulation support body 5 has a flat cable support portion 12 for supporting the flat cable 3 linked with an end 2a of the joint bar 2 and supports the flat cable 3, and the flat cable support portion 12 has a function for preventing resin fluid pressure from applied to a flat cable portion 3a during formation of a resin molding body 7. |
