Equipment and method for remote determination of wind and dispersal conditions based on the study of the movement of continuous emissions with respect to two or more cameras and comprising the following stages: a) calibration of standard photographic lenses by comparing tachymetric and photographic angular distances, b) use of projection schemes that use digitizing tablets, slide projectors and a computer for digitizing the relative position of the plume with respect to the principal axes of the image and c) use of a graphical correlation technique based on the superimposition or inter- comparison of consecutive plumes. <IMAGE>
