PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peeling of an optical element, position deviation, and the like seemed to occur at the time of cutting off, and to manufacture an optical pickup having high yield and high reliability owing to manufacture simultaneously many optical pickup by arranging plural optical elements so as to hold them between plural substrates forming an optical guiding member. SOLUTION: A laser beam mounted horizontally on a radiation plate through a sub-mount 2 and a block 3 is made incident from the surface 5f of an optical guiding member having plural parallel slopes, and reaches a reflection type radiation angle conversion hologram 7 having a function converting a radiation angle of light emitted to a radiation angle of light which is formed at a second slope 5b of the optical guiding member and is made incident. Light from the hologram 7 is divided into 0-th order diffraction light and first order diffraction light by a reflection type diffraction grating 6 formed at a first slope 5a. A manufacturing method by which it is formed so that an optical element is held between slopes of the light guiding member like this constitution is adopted. |
