PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the influence of the shrinkage of sheets caused by fixation and forming images on the same sheet several times, and also, to miniaturize an image forming device and to shorten the time for an image forming process. SOLUTION: In a stack tray 50 for feeding the sheet S at the time of executing composite or both-side copying, the width of the sheet S is detected based on the position of an aligning member 70 for approaching the sheet S to a sidewall on one side. Further, the length of the sheet S is detected based on the fluctuation of the current of a motor 40 driving a registration roll 37 for carrying the sheet S between a photoreceptor drum 1 and a transfer roll 4. The ratio of a dimension before the image is formed for the first time to that before the image is formed for the second time, that is, the degree of the shrinkage is calculated by a calculating part 91 based on the results of these detections. |
