<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of ensuring good steering feeling even in an environment wherein a steer characteristic is continuously varied. <P>SOLUTION: When a determination result in a control-on/off determination part shows continuously understeer control, in the case that an absolute value of an ACT instruction angleθus* at US control is smaller than an absolute value of a value (IFS retaining instruction angleθifs-m*) of an IFS-ACT instruction angleθifs* outputted at a former period and an absolute value of a differential value of a yaw rate (yaw rate differential valueαRy) is larger than a predetermined threshold valueβ(step 305: NO, step 308: YES and step 309: YES), an IFS-ATC instruction angle operation part retains the outputted value of the IFS-ACT instruction angleθifs* to a value of the IFS retaining instruction angleθifs-m* (θifs*=θifs-m*, step 314). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
