PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement of heat resistance strength and reflectivity and thermal stabilization in regard to an optical reflecting mirror base material made of a resin. SOLUTION: In the optical reflecting mirror base material which has an optical reflecting surface at least at one surface and is made of the resin, at least one cavity surface is made to have surface roughness Ra of≤5nm, the cavity surface and a facing cavity surface are made of the same material and are held at about the same temperature within a range between 120°C and 200°C during injection molding. Further a metallic mold, of which inner pressure is held at 0.6 to 1.0 MPa by introducing gas or air into its cavity in advance, is used and a crystalline resin is charged by injection in the metallic mold cavity to obtain a molding of advanced crystallization. When the molding as a base material is covered with a film of a metal such as Al, a thermally stable reflecting mirror can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
