PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method for anα-unsaturated amine compound that is useful as an agrochemical component having insecticidal and acaricidal actions. SOLUTION: The method for purifying anα-unsaturated amine compound comprises a step for extracting a compound represented by formula (1) from a crudeα-unsaturated amine compound with water, and a step for obtaining a pyridine solvent solution of compound of formula (1) by extracting theα-unsaturated amine compound of formula (1) with a pyridine solvent from the aqueous solution containing the compound of the formula (1) which is obtained in the preceding step (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is an H atom, a 1-4C alkyl, or the like, R<SP>2</SP>is an H atom, a 1-4C alkyl or the like, and R<SP>3</SP>is an H atom, a 1-5C alkyl or the like).
