A plate transferring apparatus is provided to support a transfer roll steadily although a transferred steel plate is deformed with heat and to breakage or a crack of a bearing, a gear etc. A plate transferring apparatus(100) includes a frame(120) and a movable roll axis supporting unit(160). A plurality of transfer rolls(110) are arranged on the top of the frame. The movable roll axis supporting unit is installed on the frame, and supports a shaft of the transfer roll. The movable roll axis supporting unit includes a supporting block and a support. The support block extended from the frame, is guided by the support.
