The method involves applying impacts on a target e.g. thigh, zone of a fashion model with a body protection garment or equipment e.g. bracket, and taking measurements e.g. speed measurement, provided by sensors e.g. force sensor. Values of energy absorbed and/or force attenuation by the garment or equipment is determined from the measurements. The garment or equipment is designated as acceptable in a direction of threshold values, if the values are greater than the threshold values, or otherwise structural modifications are provided to the garment or the equipment, for improving the values. An independent claim is also included for a method for approval test of a body protection garment or equipment for police force. |
