摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear which can obtain an intermediate reduction gear ratio of about 10-50 with large rigidity, and can be designed compact in axial dimension. SOLUTION: An input shaft 1 having a cylindrical inner diameter surface eccentric in a cylinder 1a, an output shaft 3 having an annular retainer 3b having a pocket 3a for holding a plurality of rollers 2 rollingly contacting with the eccentric cylindrical inner diameter surface, and a base shaft 4 forming a plurality of cam crests 4a rollingly contacting with the rollers 2 at equal pitches on an outer diameter surface are coaxially arranged. The pocket 3a is arranged in a position of a divided point different by one from the number of cam crests 4a in the number of divided points of equally dividing the retainer 3b in the circumferential direction. A shape equivalent to one pitch of the cam crest 4a is adjusted to an inner diameter side envelope of a locus by which the rollers 2 held in the pocket 3a revolve along the cylindrical inner diameter surface of an inner ring 5b when rotating the input shaft 1, and the revolution of the rollers 2 held in the pocket 3a of the retainer part 3b is outputted as the rotation of the output shaft 3.
