Disclosed is a robot for cleaning stairs. According to the present invention, the robot for cleaning stairs comprises: a body of the robot for cleaning stairs; a cleaning unit disposed on the body to clean a foreign substance positioned on a lower side of the body; a suction unit disposed on the body to suck the foreign substance; a stair moving unit to move two or more shift bars mounted on the body downwards in a position moving direction if moving from a first step board to a second step board of stairs or moving from the second step board to the first step board, then move each of the shift bars upwards in steps or move each of the shift bars downwards in steps, and then move the shift bars upwards; and a control unit to control cleaning and suction with respect to the stairs, and control drive of the stair moving unit. |
