The method for producing a heddle for a loom comprises (a) laminating a film on a raw material of 0.3 mm thickness, (b) light-exposing the laminated product, (c) developing the exposed product with a potassium carbonate (K2CO3) or a sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) soln., (d) washing and drying it, (e) etching it with a ferric chloride (FeCl3) soln., and (f) removing the covered film with a sodium hydroxide (NaOH) soln. The smooth heddle minimizes a damage of yarns.
