One bath fast dyeing of polyester-cellulose flat webs - - using thermosol process dyestuffs without acrylate based fixing age

The flat textile web is impregnated with a soln/suspension of a thermosol process dyestuffs in water/org. solvents contg. finishing agents such as softening agents and synthetic resins and heat treated pref. with super-heated steam or contact heat for 10 sec. to 10 min. at 150-240 degrees C. The polyester contains 20-50% cellulose fibres. Any faults in the dyeing are readily repaired and a fabric of required handle is obtd.
