<p>A nutcracker device, is constructed with a resistive jaw (la) mounted on a rod (1) which is used for clamp and subsequently break off the shell surrounding the nut kernel. A breaker jaw (3a) is mounted on the end of a moveable rod (3) such that it lies parallel to the resistive jaw (la), and can be moved towards the resistive jaw (la) in a continuous process by means of the operative lever (3). The operating lever (3) can then be pivoted against a stop (3d) which limits its travel and ensures breakage of the nut shell. The breaker jas (3a) has serrated teeth adapted for gripping and cracking the shell of the nut.</p> |
