PURPOSE:To enable the improvement of both a working efficiency and a measurement precision, by a method wherein, in case a gap between a moving contact and a fixed contact is measured, an electrical measuring method, in which a measurement is conducted by means of a measuring needle and a luminous circuit, is combined with a mechanical measuring method in whch a measurement is performed by means of a dial guage. CONSTITUTION:In case a gap between contacts is measured, a contact position in a motion position is mechanically detected by means of a dial guage and a restoration position is electrically detected by means of a measuring needle and a liminous circuit. For example, a fixed contact 3 is mounted on a substrate 1, and a moving contact 5 on a support plate 2 through a spring 6. Through the downward movement of a moving table 10, whereon a measuring needle 8 is installed, the two contacts 3 and 5 make contact with each other to be brought into an operating state. With this a dial gauge 11 is set to a0, and the moving table 10, in turn, is lifted up. As a result, the contacts 3 and 5 part from each other, and consecutively, the measuring needle 8 is lifted up. However, the moving contact 5 touches the support plate 2 to stop thereat, and thus, the two contacts are separated to light a luminous diode 132. The reading of the dial guage 11 at the point of time indicates a distance between the contacts. |
