PURPOSE:To fasten a terminal to a spool simply and firmly by inserting the terminal into an inserting port for the terminal of the spool consisting of a plastic material, heating and softening the terminal, pushing it and rapidly cooling and fixing it. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 4 with a projection 4a is pressed and inserted into a terminal inserting port 3 formed to a flange 1a for a spool 1 consisting of a plastic material. An inserting port 3 section is heated and softened by a heater 5. A push bar 7 pushes and deforms the inserting port 3. When the inserting port 3 is displaced in a predetermined manner, the inserting port 3 is cooled rapidly by compressed air. Accordingly, the terminal 4 is fixed firmly to the spool 1.
