PURPOSE:To reduce air leakage and to curtail the manufacturing time by forming heat exchange elements and spacers from a thermoplastic resin, and fixing contact portions when they are laminated by ultrasonic wavewelding or heat welding, in a pi-flow type heat exchanger or a counterflow type heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Each of heat exchange element 7 having parallel flow-paths 7a of a corrugated cardboard shaped rectangle on both surfaces is formed by a thermoplastic resin, and also spacers 8 of a corrugated cardboard shape on both sides are formed by a thermoplastic resin. While parts A, that is, spaces between the heat exchange element 6 and the spacer 8, and spaces between mutual heat exchange elements 7, are fixed by ultrasonic welding, these parts A are successively overlapped to constituted a heat exchanger. Since the heat exchange element 7 and the spacer 8 and the heat exchangers mutually are fixed to each other by ultrasonic wave welding, air leakage can be made small and the manufacturing time can be shortened. |
