<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit by giving a double mechanism to contacts of an arbitrary key switch of a keyboard and depressing this key switch at the time of run-away of a keyboard controller or the like. CONSTITUTION:A reset device of a computer system consists of scan lines 1, sense lines 2, a keyboard controller 3, a computer main body CPU 4, and key switches 5 and 6. Key switches 5 which have the double mechanism having two contacts among key switches arranged between both lines 1 and 2 are connected by prescribed combination, and each combined key switch 5 is depressed if the keyboard controller 3 and the CPU 4 run away. Thus, the CPU 4 is reset by the input signal from the keyboard independently of the keyboard controller 3 and the CPU 4.</p> |
