PURPOSE: To reduce the level of an acoustic noise by extending a stator core material between adjacent coil winding sides that are arranged along with a gap between stator poles and improving the output of a generator in a same size. CONSTITUTION: A coil winding side part 19 of adjacent rectangular sections is positioned between the same gaps between adjacent stator poles 14. Each gap formed between a core backside part 16 and one of adjacent stator pole side parts of each set has its edge part that is in complementary shape with a coil winding section. Then, a space between adjacent coil windings 18 located at the same gap is filled with a laminator material for forming a stator core 10. More specifically, the material is extended between adjacent coil winding side parts 19 and forms a protrusion 22 with a sharp tip toward the rotary axis of a rotor 12, thus increasing a contact area between a core material and the coil winding side part and hence improving the total cooling efficiency of a coil winding and increasing current that flows to the coil winding and increasing the output of the generator. Also, a thickness in radius direction of the core backside part at the protrusion increases, thus reducing the level of an acoustic noise. |
