PURPOSE:To provide a fuel atomization accelerating device related to a fuel atomization device of an internal combustion engine for reducing an electric load and improving specific fuel consumption without setting a heater always to the heating condition by preventing fuel atomization from being hindered by the heater under the non-heating condition and promoting the fuel atomization by the heater under the heating condition. CONSTITUTION:An intake air path 12 of an internal combustion engine 2 is provided with a fuel injection valve 14 directed to an intake port 8. A heater 24 is provided spaced from an injection region of fuel injected from a nozzle part 16 of the fuel injection valve. While a controlling valve 30 is provided in a sub-intake air path 26 parallel to the intake air path and on the way thereof, a sub-intake air outlet 32 directed to the heater is provided to be opened. The controlling valve is controllably opened so that sub-intake air is supplied from a sub-intake air outlet under the heat generating condition of the heater to deflect the injection region of fuel and allow fuel to come in contact with the heater. The sub-intake air from the sub-intake an outlet is interrupted under the non-heat-generating condition to close controllably the controlling valve to separate the fuel from the heater without deflecting the injection region of the fuel. |
