The invention relates to apparatus and methods for strengthening the fingers, wrists, forearms, biceps, triceps, deltoid, rotator cuff and inside and outside of the shoulder of the arms of athletes, primarily baseball pitchers. The apparatus comprises a base, such as a frame or stand for supporting the exercising devices at different heights for the different parts of the arms of differing height athletes; the level of the belt for the fingers, wrists, biceps, rotator cuff, and inside and outside shoulder; eye and forehead level for the forearm and biceps; fully extended for the biceps, triceps, forearm, and deltoid. Rollers or baseballs having adjustable rotational resistances and angles are repetitively spun upon longitudinal and orthogonal axes or axles cooperating with the base. The upper frames and sleeves of the apparatus can be adjusted to desired heights required by the athlete using the device. Two pieces of elastic surgical tubing; one attached to the base of the apparatus, and the other to the upper right hand frame for strengthening the front and back of the shoulder and inside and outside of the arm. Conventional mechanism for adding resistance to the rotating exercising devices as well as stationary baseball affixed to the upper left hand frame strengthens the rotator cuff, triceps as well as the back and front of the arm. |
