PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable data transmission-reception terminal equipment by which data such as an electronic mail is easily exchanged free of change without using a telephone line, and to provide a portable communication system using the equipment. SOLUTION: A certain terminal automatically and successively exchange data such as an electronic mail to plural exchange terminal through the use of feeble electromagnetic wave. Another terminal existing in an area capable of executing radio communication with the terminal receives the transmission data by a communication unit, stores it in a temporary storage memory (RAM) and displays reception data which is stored in an RAM in liquid crystal display equipment. Thus, a user who receives the mail can read the mail addressed to him or her.
