<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixing method by which transparency is made compatible with offset resistant performance, the deterioration of an image is restrained in a life, excellent coloring is presented, fixing performance is completely satisfied and an excellent image is formed by setting fixing set temperature in a monochrome mode lower than that in a full color mode. SOLUTION: A fixing unit 7 is provided with a heating roller 5, a cleaning roller 4, a temperature control unit 50 and a pressure roller 6. In the case of testing offset resistance in full color and mono-color, the non-offset temperature area of yellow, magenta or cyan in monochrome is 120 deg.C to 160 deg.C, that of black in the monochrome is 110 deg.C to 180 deg.C and that in full color is 130 deg.C to 160 deg.C. When the fixing temperature in the full color is set to 150 deg.C and an image is evaluated, the distinct image excellent in color reproduction is obtained. By setting the fixing temperature in the monochrome mode 130 deg.C, the distinct image without unevenness of solidness is obtained.</p> |
