PURPOSE:To obtain frozen roasted rice balls having a taste of MISO by forming boiled rice to give rice balls, coating the surface of the rice balls with a solution of MISO, roasting and rapidly freezing. CONSTITUTION:A MISO 1 mixed with water 2 is ground into a fine particle state to give a solution of MISO 4, which is applied to the surface of rice balls 5 by a spray nozzle 7, etc. The rice balls are roasted by an oven 11 and rapidly frozen by a freezer 12. Admixture of foreign material such as removed hair of brush is prevented to give a product having good flavor and appearance. |
