The seat gas spring (6) has a sealed housing (60) which surrounds it and a gas chamber (61) inside which is a cylinder (62) with a piston (63) which moves in the direction of actuation and has a diametric axial direction defined. A spring (68) is moved by the piston in the direction of motion and in an exit position has a perpendicular position to the seat and rear seat rest. A section of the piston is visible through the housing.
