PURPOSE:To provide a structure using a heat seal connector which reduces the thickness over the entire part of the display device and equals the area of the display device to the area of the electrooptical display part of a liquid crystal, etc. CONSTITUTION:This display device has the electrooptical display part 2 which displays characters, figures, etc., in a matrix form, a control part 4 which is packaged with a control circuit for electrically controlling the electrooptical display part 2 on a substrate or tape, a connecting member consisting of a conductive material having a thermal fusing property for connecting the electrooptical display part 2 and the control part 4 and the film-like heat seal connector 1 for electrically connecting the electrooptical display part 2 and the control part 4. The one terminal connecting part is constituted of the heat seal connector 1 formed by constituting circuits of a conductive coating material, anisotropic heat seal coating material or anisotropic heat seal film on a polyester film and TCP(tape carrier package) 3. |
