PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and such excellent properties as to ensure neither image fog nor exposure memory, with respect to an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer are stacked in this order on an electrically conductive substrate. SOLUTION: In the multilayer electrophotographic photoreceptor in which a charge generating layer containing a charge generating agent and a charge transport layer containing a charge transport agent are disposed on an electrically conductive substrate, the charge transport layer contains as a hole transport agent at least one of the compounds represented by formula (I) and at least one of the compounds represented by formula (II).
