METHODS FOR PREPARING AMINO ACID EXTRACT FROM RED GINSENG

Provided is a method for manufacturing amino sugar extracts with high concentration of AFG(arginine-fructose-glucose) from red ginseng under a predetermined extraction condition. A method for manufacturing amino sugar extracts from red ginseng comprises a step of extracting amino sugar by adding water or a mixed solvent of water and ethanol to the red ginseng. A main body, large roots, and middle roots of the red ginseng are used for obtaining the amino sugar extracts. The extraction process is repeated once or three times at a temperature of 20-70°C for 3-5 hours. The amino sugar is AFG(arginine-fructose-glucose) or AF(arginine-fructose).
