PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is excellent in low-temperature fixability, high-temperature offset resistance, heat-resistant storage property, and electrostatic property.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner containing at least a polyester resin, where the polyester resin includes a urethane bond and a urea bond; the ratio of the amount of nitrogen (B) in a compound containing one isocyanate group and one amino group to the amount of nitrogen (A) in a compound containing two isocyanate groups (B)/(A) in a thermal decomposition product generated in thermal decomposition of the toner from 50°C to 700°C is 0.6≤(B)/(A)≤1.3; and the content of nitrogen in the surface of the toner is 0 to 0.9 atom%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
