<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently attempt tradeoffs of quality of call, power saving and call cost. <P>SOLUTION: Available wait modes are different, respectively, in response to the attachment or detachment of an interface for an external WAN, or voice direct call correspondence/non-correspondence. When the interface for the external WAN is not attached, only a VoIP dedicated mode can be utilized. When a built-in radio LAN interface as well as the interface for the external WAN, corresponding to a voice call by a public radio network are mounted, all the waiting modes can be utilized.
