<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal receiving apparatus capable of reducing the power consumption in spite of provision of a function for executing diversity reception processing and properly outputting signals from a plurality of reception sections. <P>SOLUTION: A diversity processing section 400 executes the diversity reception processing wherein first and second reception sections 200, 300 are operated and signals received by the first and second reception sections 200, 300 are composed and the composed signal is output or single reception processing wherein either reception section of the first and second reception sections 200, 300 is operated, and the signal received by the selected reception section is selected and output.
