The present invention relates to a probe for discriminating mating types, cultivars, or lineages of shiitakes, and to a discriminating method using the same. In particular, the present invention relates to a probe capable of separately detecting eight kinds of A mating types which may be shown in dielectrics of shiitakes and seven kinds of B mating types; a method for discriminating mating types, cultivars, or lineages by using the same; and a method for mating shiitakes on the basis of discriminated mating type information. According to the present invention, mating types, cultivars, and lineages of shiitakes can be very accurately and easily determined, and mating can be performed at a high probability of success on the basis of discriminated information, so labor and burden of economical costs can be remarkably reduced compared to a conventional random mating method. Moreover, mating type discrimination is possible, so selective crossing is possible between desired mononuclear strains, thereby being expected to remarkably contribute to breeding of novel cultivars of shiitakes. Also, according to the present invention, genetic differences between morphologically similar two cultivars can be compared, and a developed novel cultivar is very advantageous in terms of protection of cultivars and application processes. |
