PRODUCTION OF OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium excellent in moisture-proof property and corrosion resistance by forming a chemically adsorbed film having fluoroalkyl groups through siloxane bonds on the surface of an optical information recording medium in a vapor phase. CONSTITUTION:An inorg. oxide layer 13 such as an SiO2 layer is formed on an optical information recording layer 12 formed on one side of a transparent substrate 11 and the surface of the resulting optical information recording medium is subjected to oxidation treatment with oxygen plasma in a UV dry stripper. The optical information recording medium is then exposed to vapor of heptadecafluorodecyltrichlorosilane 14 and allowed to stand in the air to form a chemically adsorbed film having fluoroalkyl groups through siloxane bonds on the surface of the optical information recording medium.
