PURPOSE:To obtain an antiviral agent effective for various resistant viruses as a preventive and a therapeutic agent for infectious diseases with various viruses and retrovirus, having excellent antiviral activity, comprising a tertiary amine derivative having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:A small amount of 1,2-dibromoethane is added to magnesium in ether and a small amount of iodine pieces is added to the ether. A solution of 3-chloro-tricyclo[2,2,1,0]heptane in ether is added to the solution and reacted while refluxing under heating, excessive magnesium is removed and 3- piperidino-1-phenyl-1-propanone, etc., are added and reacted at 60 deg.C for 2 hours.
