The method transmits signals according to a battery save message sent from a cell site and a reception field strength so that S/N ratio is increased at a battery save mode. The method comprises the steps of: (a) processing a message sent from a cell site and detecting a reception field strength; (b) checking a transmission level of the message checked in the step (a); (c) sending data with a 2-step lower level when the two step lower level is higher than a level seven and otherwise sending a data with the level seven; (d) checking a reception field strength and a transmission level change message periodically; (e) repeating the step (a) to (d) when a communication mode is maintained; and (f) clearing a corresponding memory when the communication ends.
