PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioning of such a type that air is diffused from a floor with high efficiency without generating static pressure loss due to a rapid expansion of discharged air by a method wherein air discharging direction is oriented all around and a fan having a large discharging area is used. CONSTITUTION:In this air conditioning of such a type that air is diffused from floor, space under a floor is formed in a large space like a plenum chamber 3 and conditioned air is diffused from floor surface into an area to be air- conditioned. Further, under the floor where an air conditioner 1 is installed, there are provided an inlet cone 21 to suck conditioned air diffused from the air conditioner 1 and a fan 2 comprising a runner having a plurality of blades whose air diffusing direction is centrifugal and a motor to rotate the runner in the horizontal direction, so that the conditioned air is sent into the space under the floor horizontally in all directions. As a result, generation of static pressure loss due to rapid expansion of the discharged air from the fan 2 can be prevented, whereby operability can be improved. |
