1208373 Electric selective signalling COMPAGNIE DES COMPTEURS 4 Oct 1968 [16 Oct 1967] 47219/68 Addition to 1115749 Headings G4D D6Y and D7X The apparatus of the parent Specification 1115749 is modified in that for each unit of fluid recorded by a meter 1, Fig. 1 a contact 19 is closed to energize synchronous motor 14 driving via a shaft 15 the slider 11a of a potentiometer 11 and the toothed wheel 10a of a pulse generator, the motor being kept energized for one rotation of the shaft by a cam disc 21 and associated contact 20, the motor stopping at the end of the rotation until another unit of flow is recorded. As in the parent Specification the sawtooth output voltage from potentiometer 11 is compared with the voltage representing the density of the fluid, pulses being accumulated from the pick-up 10b of the toothed wheel 10a in a counter 13 during each cycle of the sawtooth until equality between the two voltages is detected, the count hence representing volume x density. |
