PURPOSE:To improve the dynamic sensitivity, reproducibility of dots, yellowing resistance and printing suitability by allowing an intermediate layer to contain a pigment showing a specific oil absorption and a heat-sensitive coloring layer to contain a specific organic developer, and blending calcium carbonate as a pigment. CONSTITUTION:The recording sheet is obtained by sequentially forming an intermediate layer and a heat-sensitive coloring layer on a supporting body. The intermediate layer contains an organic, inorganic pigment of the oil absorption smaller than 80ml/100g according to JISK5101, e.g. alumina by 60-95wt.% to the total solid content. Moreover, the heat-sensitive coloring layer contains a compound represented by a formula I as an organic developer. In the formula I, R is a propyl group, isopropyl group, n-butyl group, and the developer is 4-hydroxy-4-isopropoxy diphenylsulfone or the like. Calcium carbonate of approximately 0.1-1.0mum average particle size is blended as a pigment, thereby to prevent yellowing by NOx. |
