PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for operation for generating a backup file specially and easily generate the backup file by providing a transfer means which transfers and writes input digital waveform data in an auxiliary storage means, and also transfers and writes it even in a backup auxiliary storage means. CONSTITUTION:A sound recording and transfer circuit 11 has a sound recording buffer internally and the inputted digital waveform data are written in the buffer in order. Then the buffer becomes full and the digital waveform data sent out of the sound recording and transfer circuit 11 are written on an external disk 9 through a transfer bus 18 and a SCSI interface 8. When a backup mode is specified, the same data are written on the external disk 10. At this time, a user previously specifies whether or not data are backed up by PC 20 or a panel switch 6. Thus, the backup file is obtained without the trouble of generating the backup file separately. |
