<p>Oxygenated derivs. of 1-amido-adamantane with general formulae (I)-(IV) and their salts. Ac=C1-18 acyl- R=H-, C1-18 alkyl-, C7-13 aralkyl-, -CH2-R' where R'=C3-6 cycloalkyl- X= -OH, =O, C1-18 acyloxy- X'= -OH, =O Y= -OH, acyloxy- also Derivatives of these cpds:- R"=alkyl-, aralkyl-, methylcycloalkyl-. CNS stimulants. Microbiological aerobic oxidation of 1-amido-adamantane using Sporotrichum sulfurescens, Curvularia lunata or Rhizopus arrhizus (or their enzymes) to produce corresponding 4-ol and 3-ol derivatives.</p> |
