<p>Terminal lead wire is attached to the terminal electrode of an electrical resistor using a cup with an apertured bottom for insertion of the wire end, after which the cup is at least partly filled with pref. solder, electroconductive epoxy resin, or Ag. While this material is unconsolidated or uncured, the component's end is inserted into the cup and the material is solidified. The cup is then removed. Pref., when using epoxy, the cup's inner surfaces may be coated with polyethylene or wax as a release agent.</p> |
